White Sanctum is an Art gallery and Conservation Centre located in Bangalore; for promoting, transmitting and safeguarding art, culture heritage. It was inaugurated on January 18th, 2015. The gallery is located in a calm and quiet residential area near Outer Ring Road and is near various Tech Parks; making it a sought out art gallery in the brimming “downtown area”. The gallery is open for rentals for art exhibitions or cultural events. Curated and non curated art exhibitions happen in the gallery. Outreach activities such as travelling exhibitions are also conducted by the gallery at various educational institutions as well as public places. We also support various academical and extracurricular activities of students. From 2018 onwards the gallery extended First Aid and Conservation services for Archives, Art and Antiquities. The Art Gallery added publishing services from January 2023 onwards.
The Curator cum Conservator of the gallery is Bindu P V. She is an ex-high tech IT employee who has obtained Dr. Swarnakamal Bhowmik Gold Medal for Conservation and Preservation, in Museology and Conservation from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She is also recipient of Best of India National Records for her books. The various training classes and conservation treatments are mainly conducted by her.
